Ideas......

This is a gorgeous "high end" sofa that I recently got.... it has eight way hand tied springs and the fabric is a soft blue on blue design. The upholstery has some age on it, but still looks nice. I have had thoughts of having it reupholstered in some updated fabric and possibly adding a skirt to it....What are your thoughts?

Here are some style ideas:

I think I favor the off white sofa with the wide kick pleats. I like them all.....

Here are some fabric samples that I like:

Another piece leaves the hive......

This sofa or hall table found a new home yesterday!
It really looks nice tucked up behind her sofa......
making room for more....

Here we have a gorgeous Jelly cupboard with great storage. Not certain if the wood is cherry or mahogany, but I lean to the later.
The mirror swivels and has a candle stand on either side. Very intricate hand carving under the mirror. I have been told, on good authority, that it dates to mid to late 1800's.

These pictures really do not do this piece justice.

I'm not sure why the pics didn't post previously.....
here they are!
I would really like to recreate the idea of a mannequin as a topiary!
Should I leave her (mannequin # 5) white or do you like the "rust" color?
She is 21" tall and 6.5" wide (at the widest point). She probably will require at 12" diameter pot.....I will show pics when I am finished.......or until someone buys it!!

Lost pictures......

It seems that with the crash of my brand new Toshiba laptop,
all but 3 of my project pictures are lost. I wanted to share some of my work, but I will have to take new pictures.
I make cards, small canvases (as shown), collages, scrapbooks and paper crafts.
My daughter got a new office and I wanted to make something for her bare walls! This is what I gave her.
What kind of projects do you do?
